My e-Visa application experience for Indian e-Tourist

A few months ago I decided to visit India though e-Tourist Visa for that, I decided to go for e-Visa services, instead of going through the long process involved in Embassy visa application the e-Visa process is easy and time effective. The e-Visa scheme was launched by the government of India, to boost the tourism industry and the travellers get the maximum benefit of visa online.

During uploading ID photo, passport information page, I face a little problem, maybe because of slow net connectivity, or not following the instructions properly. But if I can talk about my overall experience to connect and guide the customers care, agents of, it was an excellent experience. As I get rid of the frustration of standing long queues of traditional visa in Embassy.

The e-Visa application also provide with some additional interesting benefits like travellers can save the application form and get complete later, the payments section is also online, the mode of payments they accept are Credit card / Debit Card / PayPal and Western Union methods. The process is very convenient and the approval letter also sent to the applicant's registered mail id.

There are certain things that need to keep in mind while looking for the visa to India that, the validity of your Indian visa will begin on the day of your arrival and you can not apply more than 30 days, before your arrival to India. It is a single entry visa and if a traveller wants to spend some more time in India then they need to contact the Indian embassy. Travellers can only apply twice in one calendar year.
